Cub Scout Leader Position Specific Training

Cub Scout Leader Specific Training is designed to provide specific training in each of the Cub Scout program. this training is divided into five areas:

Tiger Den Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, Cubmasters and Assistants, Pack Committee

Each of these areas includes the following: Pack Organization and the Leader; The Cub Scout Advancement Program. Den and Pack program planning. 

In addition, each area has more specific training for that leader position. Prerequisites for Cub Scout Leader Specific Training are: Be a registered adult and have taken New Leader Essentials which will normally be offered the same day and prior to Cub Scout Leader Specific Training.

Webelos Leader Outdoor Training

This is your opportunity to take part in truly a fun outdoor learning experience and discover what the outing in scouting is all about! This course is for all adult connected with the cub scout program: Webelos leaders, Assistant Webelos leaders, future Webelos leaders, parent of cub or Webelos scout, Cubmasters, committee members, den leaders.

Webelos Leader Outdoor Training presents "how to" in planning and conducting successful Webelos den parent and son overnight campouts and other Webelos outdoor activities. It reinforces - but does not duplicate - what you learned at Cub Scout Leader Position Specific Training (a prerequisite for this course). This course provides "hands-on" learning experience in camping and outdoor skills as done by Webelos dens.
