Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Check-in and breakfast buffet begins promptly at 7:30 AM)
Place: LDS Tucson Stake Center, 105 N Norton Ave (near Broadway and Tucson).
WHAT IS IT?
Pow Wow is an annual get-together of leaders in Cub Scouting from our entire council. It is an action packed, hands-on, FUN 1/2 day training workshop designed to assist you in delivering the best program you can … and to ultimately help our young boys grow into men. There will be classes on games and activities on a budget, tax credits and deductions for volunteers, creative ways for pack recognition, how to run memorable derby races, den crafts, pack meeting helps, knots and woggles, and even consultation clinics — a new forum for you to troubleshoot problems that are unique to your unit!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Pow Wow is for ALL adults involved with the cub scout program: Den Leaders, Webelos Leaders, Tiger Cub Partners, Cubmasters, and Pack committee members.
HOW MUCH DOES POW WOW COST?
Early registration is $10 when you register before Friday, September 30th and includes a Pow Wow CD of resource materials, a collectible patch, various goodies and snacks, and a full breakfast buffet. Late registration is $15 (Oct 1 to Oct 15). Some classes may also require a nominal course fee. Staff registration is free.
