Certified for all Scouting activities and meetings. Teaches what to look for, as well as procedures to follow when abuse is suspected. Also, teaches adults how to protect themselves. |

adults, and is usually offered in conjunction with the Leader Specific

Learning the rules of running a safe swim. Required for all swimming activities. |

Learning the rules of running a safe boating activity. Required for all boating activities. |

Learning the rules of running a safe rappelling and rock climbing activity. Required for all activities with rock climbing and rappelling. |

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. Certified to provide a safe camping experience for Cub Scout Packs. |

Finishes basic training for all Webelos Leaders. Teaches Webelos Leaders camping techniques to ensure a quality outdoor experience. |

Wood Badge |
6 Days |
Wood
Badge has evolved into the core leadership skills training course for the
BSA. Wood Badge: for the 21st Century course focuses on strengthening every
volunteer's ability to work with and lead groups of youth and adults and is
less focused on outdoor skills, which are more effectively addressed in other
courses. |

Philmont Training Center offers advanced training conferences on a variety of
